He has been awarded by the Tamil Nadu State Government for his contribution to employment creation for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

Basith has placed over 10,000 PwDs in IT, Services and Manufacturing sectors and has led various Central and State Government projects. He excels in organizing mega job fairs and setting up Equal Opportunity Centres.
